What is Facial Dermaplaning?

Dermaplaning is a painless and effective way to exfoliate the epidermis as well as remove vellus hair peach-fuzz hair) using a medical grade surgical stainless steel blade. Dermaplaning not only gets rid of unwanted hair but also removes dead skin cells to reveal smoother skin. to promote cell turnover, which can lead to a more youthful complexion as well as help to allow better product absorption.

Dermaplaning Options:

  • Option 1: Dermaplane Treatment (stand-alone)

    After cleansing we remove the vellus hair using a medical grade surgical steel blade. We then use a ultrasonic spatula to infuse a custom hydrating serum into the skin and then finish with moisturizer and SPF.

Is Dermaplaning available as a add-on treatment?

Yes, Dermaplaning can be added on to most of our facial options.

Who is not a good candidate for Dermaplaning?

The most common reason to avoid dermaplaning is if you have active, inflamed acne as it would not be suitable and can cause bacterial spread.

Other contraindications include recent use of Accutane, eczema, dermatitis, skin cancer, open lesions, active herpes simplex, sunburn or keratosis.
